The New 60 Series continues our innovation of using the optional sliding rail adapter for 3rd rail power pick-up for use under the Saddles, or the Stirrups, or both.

As with the 50 Series, double-shielded ball bearings are standard, as are the built in automatic gauge stops so that, with a flick of the wrist and 5 seconds, are fully adjustable by the end user.

The Stirrups are specifically engineered to complement The Saddles and the optional 3rd rail adapter. Use them to support the trucks and tender of your steam locomotives during operation. Use them when your tender requires a separate power pickup from the rail.

Note: We have added a new item for the 60 Series to accommodate those long steam locomotives and tenders. It is a new Stirrup assembly consisting of just the long length Stirrup (300mm/12in) - Part No. 62ST-LSA.
